NORDUnet network statistics
This is a collection of different ways of presenting graphs of the
NORDUnet traffic statistics, mostly using RRD databases maintained by rrdtool.
The graphs have three forms:
-
98th percentile graphs: these are measured once per day over the
day and connection. "Into" and "Out from" in the graphs is seen from
the NORDUnet perspective. E.g. traffic into a given NORDUnet NREN is
traffic out from NORDUnet.
These curves have one value per day, corresponding to the level where
98% of the day (23:31:12) the traffic level is below this value, and
2% of the day (0:28:48) the traffic is above this level.
-
Average graphs: these show traffic summed up per connection and
day. As above, it is the NORDUnet perspective which decides
"Into" and "Out from" in the graphs.
-
The "current" per-customer and per-link graphs. These are graphs
updated in near real time, in different resolutions, from graphs
showing averages over 5 minutes to graphs showing averages over 24
hours, displaying data covering a longer time span.
